We are currently seeking a Data Analyst to help support our company's merchandising efforts by providing reliable data and building new systems. Our team works on a variety of initiatives, such as helping to prioritize merchandising opportunities based on existing product sales

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop business solutions that align with strategy and represent customer needs understood through data analysis and research
  • Create reports and dashboards to monitor customer impact and operational progress
  • Write clean and well documented queries
  • Conduct analyses of customer behavioral data to draw trends and identify opportunities
  • Evaluate solutions that enable teammates to solve problems not currently supported by existing tools or that influence how our business focuses efforts to maximize customer impact
  • Validate the impact of key metrics on long-term business objectives in a statistically rigorous manner

What we look for:

  • Strong analytical & critical thinking ability
  • Demonstrated ability and interest in using data to drive business decisions
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Microsoft Office
  • Experience writing clean and well-documented code
  • 1-2 years of project experience in related fields such as analytics, data science, or other similar areas
  • Experience with 1-2 statistical methods used in data analysis, such as decision trees, clustering, A/B analysis, or regression
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Quantitative Methods (Social Science) or related field
  • Preferred: HTML, Javascript, Neo4J, NumPy, pandas
